I assume it is a genuine account as retweeted by the club and links to his insta.

If he was visible at the weekend and there last night does he now have something of an official role? I cant believe he is over here on holiday and added a rainy night in Bristol to his itinerary.

It's a genuine account. He's been over in the UK for about a year or so now. Nothing official yet just keeping an eye on his daddy's business

I personally don't have a problem with it at all. He's probably learning the ropes. I mean look what happened to Leicester's owner and to Doughty for example. The big man doesn't look the healthiest does he (sorry big man).

Why would anyone have a problem with that? Maybe he will turn into a real Forest fan. Being onsite in Bristol yesterday should most definitely have made an impression on this young man.

I didn't say they would Gari I just said that I personally don't. There are a few cynics on here though who might read into it differently but that is up to them.

The more involvement by EM in day to day affairs at Forest the better for me. If that means his son is his envoy then so be it.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 20-10-2021

You can read into it both ways. The obvious plus for me is that it is a demonstration that Marinakis and his immediate family are still committed to the club and for me that is the most important thing. As Sniff says Im sure the big guy is looking at succession plans for all his businesses think it is very positive if Forest is part of the long term plan.
The negative is if there are accusations of him poking his nose in to the football side, not saying he is or ever will but you can see how those rumours start.
By the way thoroughly recommend a look at the Sky Atlantic series Succession, a great piss take on a dysfunctional corporate family fighting to take over the reins from their elderly billionaire father.

I quite like the idea of his son learning the ropes. He has been here a while from observations of the directors box and as long as he lets people do their jobs and doesn’t turn into a Fawaz like control freak it seems that EM is looking long term.
If he has half the nouse of his dad then we will be OK

Speaking of Fawaz, I recommend people check out Robin Chipperfield's new youtube channel. This week he interviewed Shaun O'Driscoll about his time managing Forest under Fawaz. It's a really interesting piece.

Loads of money :)

A 150-million-euro bond issue by CPLP Shipping Holdings Plc has been oversubscribed by more than five times, with listed offers exceeding 800 million euros for five-year senior unsecured bonds by the Nasdaq-listed shipping company founded by Evangelos Marinakis.

Is Marinakis treating himself to a new oil tanker?

I think a new fleet. He wants to 'go green'.
