3-1 Garnacho the best player on the park unfortunately

Result 3-1 to United.
But how refreshing to see this Youth team perform.
Powell for the Reds reminded me of Stuart Pearce with his style when charging forward, and a sweet left foot.
Osong didn't see much of the ball, but he reminded me of K. Davis, strong player.
Well done all!

Bad luck lads. Robbed by totally incompetent officials.

Sounds familiar, at least they're getting some experience of what its like in the seniors!

Dont want to be harsh on the lads because it was a unique occasion but I was disappointed in both Taylor and Osong to be honest.

What is it about shite refs for us this season? Every game we play we get a result changing decision go against us.

And this is not some young lad of a ref trying his best but getting it wrong, hes a championship ref.

The right back Powell looks decent.

RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's - Paplane - 11-05-2022

We schooled them on their own pitch for 2 3rds of the game but it what does it matter now?

In the words of Peter Taylor, they've 'got the cup'.

We were cruising and dominating until the pen. Made the situation ourselves but I’ve not seen a mistake that bad by Sunday league refs. It is a disgustingly bad decision that. I’m fuming. It shouldn’t matter as it’s the u18 but they didn’t deserve that at all.
Josh Powell was brilliant. Taylor has such a good first touch too and when he dropped deep he really showed what a good player he is but didn’t got on the ball enough. Not sure he is a centre forward - can see him becoming a 10.
O song was disappointing but can’t fault his effort.
The resources difference must be huge but we more than held our own.
Well played boys

The “penalty” decision. It was the linesman who gave it to was looking straight at it.

Disgusting. Feel for them…

Lets hope EM writes another letter on this situation again. That was a complete shocking decision by the linesman. Sorry but also the decision on no VAR in the playoffs will eventually cost someone millions of pounds because of the incompitance of the officials.
