It sounds like your envious. They have been far better run than us in the past decade, it’s true. We had the Fawaz years when Forest brought nothing but shame and embarrassment on the city of Nottingham. We seem to be on an upward trajectory since EM took control though, so I’ve erased those years from memory.

Also there is a rebalancing going on. Only Burnley, Fulham, palace, sheff wed and Brighton are pretending and possibly wolves

Championship clubs will be limited to 25 players under new rules which will ease over-spending in the English Football League.

I wonder if it’ll be the same as the premier league where players under a certain age don’t need to be registered but can still play?

That would help us with players like Mighten and Johnson.

Championship Clubs will be allowed a maximum of 25 players per Club, with a minimum of 8 needing to be considered ‘Home Grown’ as per EFL Regulations.U21 players don’t have to be included in the squad list in order to be eligible to play, except those on temporary loan agreements

Excellent news for a club like us that collects deadwood like no other.

We don’t have to register the bomb squad. 25 players in the first team squad with 8 home grown is fine.

Cheers TrickySte

Same as the premier league then. Good news for us with our homegrown players.

Not the toughest of starts - looking at first 5 or 6 games.

A game nearly every 3 to 4 days. Going to really take it's toll on some players this year and getting the youth involved to increase the 25 man squad size is going to be a massive part of this season.
