RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - PsychoStanleyStone - 05-11-2020 could be the first time we have won and had more possession (52%) for maybe 50 or 60 games we have got an inertia problem, score and everything good seems to have to end, the high press, tempo and urgency, and start defaulting into habits that can cost you games RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - ThePromisedLand - 05-11-2020 (05-11-2020, 10:54 AM)Tricky Wrote:(05-11-2020, 10:45 AM)Simon Wrote: I don't trust Christie at right back - he seems to get pulled out of position and beaten for pace easily meaning Figs has to come across to cover. Also doesnt seem to make much effort to get back in position.... +1 RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 05-11-2020 I find it hard to comprehend Christie getting the nod over Viv Anderson at the minute and he's 64. Silva and watson did that last season for us i dont see who else in the squad can pick a pass it’s woeful at times . I would carry Jack Wilshire to the City ground if Big Mak would offer him a short term deal with another year if he plays 20+ games RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - Sausage Roll - 05-11-2020 Do we know that Darikwa is in the 25 man squad? Let's not forget that we're coming to the end of a hectic run of games and had 2 consecutive away games before last night. As I said last night, the players who've played regularly in that period looked shattered and the players that haven't are either unfit or playing semi injured. It's no surprise we faded badly IMO. Same for both teams though and without knowing anything about Coventry's squad, I'd suggest we probably have a bigger one RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - Paplane - 05-11-2020 (05-11-2020, 12:23 PM)wassy04 Wrote:(05-11-2020, 10:17 AM)Paplane Wrote: I think last night was more about fatigue than anything else so I'm not going to lambast the players. Yeah it is but they're playing with freedom, whereas we're playing with the weight of the world on our shoulders and with a squad of half fit players. RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 05-11-2020 Some of our players do look or certainly perform like they are not fit enough. The question is why? Sabri's training methods? Did we report back too late for pre-season? RE: Nottingham Forest - Coventry City - bostonred - 05-11-2020 (05-11-2020, 09:28 AM)Username Wrote: Since when has Grabban been too slow. I assume this was sarcasm ? Hes never had the pace to out run the last defender since he's been with us. He always cuts back and looks for support. Not a criticism of him as he has other strengths but pace isn't one of them.
