RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - ozzyten10 - 04-02-2019 Conjecture and most definitely gossip but from what I’ve been told that feasibility into new ground and existing ground improvements have been extensive. Conclusion is that a new main stand will be built possibly in the summer of 2020. 35k capacity wanted but some problems in this. Possible relocation of training ground to a new site to build state of the art facilities which include community facilities ‘for the greater sporting good’ of Nottingham. Great if true and would be exciting to see if it is true. Infrastructure not FFP based so this would indeed create a feeling of new owners having big ambitions and best intentions. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Widdow - 04-02-2019 Plans for new main stand was put to the council last summer, problem is had to be submitted to two councils, Rushcliffe and Nottingham City, so was a long drawn process. I expected we would have heard something back by now. And yes also reviewing the Wilford site, which might show commitment towards CAT1 status RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-02-2019 Is that some kind of cryptic clue NG3? Because if it is then it has gone straight over my head :( RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - ThePromisedLand - 04-02-2019 Baseball Ground? I suppose that makes a change from telling him he's on ignore :) RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Mcforest - 08-02-2019 It's a shame that there is good news around the corner but we can't discuss it to lift the fans again or get excited about it. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Frochy1977 - 08-02-2019 I think deep down we all know what the news will be. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 08-02-2019 Well, I think it's fair to say that we are getting a new Main Stand or at the very least a new Main Stand roof with one or two other bits and bobs added. I think we can all agree on that? However, does it stop there? Or do we have more news regarding the Academy Site and training ground etc? Sounds good , much needed as well . RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - ozzyten10 - 19-02-2019 I have heard that there is some exciting news coming regarding this: .” Big plans indeed although tempered by where we currently stand as a championship club but powers that be have been encouraged by the fans numbers enough to push through earlier than projected.” Still no details though... RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Duncan Mckenzie - 19-02-2019 Well we don't need details just a general idea would be nice... |
