Will absolutely give EM credit when it is appropriate to do so, nothing apart from Brass joining is confirmed yet.
It takes courage to admit mistakes have been made and he will have felt the pain in his wallet too. To turn away from his favourite tried and tested methods and adopt new ways of working is all positive. But lets see really how much change there has been. Assuming Murphy joins how much free reign will he be given or will the decisions actually be made in Greece. Hoping for a positive summer and the start of a coherent long term plan for once.

He absolutely deserves credit for many things.
Cat 1, hopefully re-development of the ground, well priced tickets, off field we are probably as well ran as we have ever been.
Just a real shame how much of his ££ that Vrentzos has wasted.
I guess after 4 yrs that is his biggest error of judgement.

EM has provided the tools - the problem has been in my opinion poor management recruitment or rather not sticking with a manager long enough.
I have also heard this weekend that rather than be vulnerable - CH has actually been involved very closely with the root and branch review and it is some of his recommendations coming to fruition. Could it be that CH is looking long term to become more of a director of football?

Not sure EM would see it that way. Vrentzos inherited and sorted out one hell of a mess that Marinakis inherited from Fawaz. Also former managers must also take some of the blame for so called wasted pounds. Vrentzos was not telling managers who they must buy he was just backing their choices.

I heard similar to that Ozzy; apparently Hughton and Brazil have a very good working relationship and the ideas they put forward have been listened to and acted on.

Thats really encouraging to hear JCK and Ozzy. The big risk when you implement these sort of changes in senior management is that you create separate factions pulling in different directions until there is a parting of ways. If CH and GB are fully on board then the transition is far easier, fingers crossed.

I was initially concerned that these changes would be bad for CH too. Not that I have been immensely impressed with him so far but because his track record and the need for some much needed stability.

When Murphy first arrived at Barnsley Stendel carried on as manager, he was sacked after 11 games in early October when Barnsley were bottom, had only won 1 game and had just been hammered by 5-1 by Preston. I expect Hughton will get a fair crack at it and it's those decisions you pay the CEO to make anyway, if he's a good one he'll get it right.

Barnsley already had their new structure in place when Stendel was appointed so no need for him to be sacked when Murphy came in.

And that shows you what a great appointment Ishmael was turning that group of players into the play offs, whilst Hughton was given a fair crack, and came in after 4 games, was not as influential.
