Missed Brandon Sniff I really think there is a player there from what i have seen preseason and in PL2 so far and seems Coops does too .
Start against Burnley in cup hopefully.

RE: Our South Americans - Salvatore Matrecano - 29-08-2023

Brandon is from Costa Rica. Would need to rename the thread Our Central and South Americans.

You are correct Sal. However, Central America isn't a continent, whereas South America is.

Central America is actually part of the North America continent, so maybe the thread should be renamed 'Our Americans', which would then include Turner and Horvarth as well. This would cause all sorts of confusion though, as 'Americans' are often associated with the Yanks only and not all from the two continents

Or is this being too pedantic?

RE: Our South Americans - Salvatore Matrecano - 30-08-2023

Thanks Tricky. COYR, both entertaining and informative, who knew?
Could have an our Europeans thread plus Our Africans. Then you need Our Asians and Our Oceanics so Hwang and Wood don’t feel left out.

Or have we gone too far with this?

FFS Sal!!! We've created a monster

First opinions

Montiel has a bit of quality but Im pretty sure he isn’t a natural wing back, offered very little going forwards. Seemed to read the game well, had a bit of skill and a nasty streak too, think he will keep near the top of the yellow card count. As a right back think he will be fine.

Santos. Oh dear. Looked little boy lost. No influence on the game at all. Say something nice, came into the game slightly more second half and a couple of neat passes one of which lead to a good chance. Just learned that loans take up a squad space even if U21? He needs to grow up fast.
