RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Widdow - 19-02-2019 You think it would be better for them to do the work now rather than if and when we get to the Premier League, as that would result in sell outs. When it becomes clear we are not in a position to go up this season, then that would be a good time to announce and put in a start date . I think investing in the ground isn't connected to FFP, so shouldn't impact to much on Transfer budget (although the Spurs situation does show it can hit budgets) RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - ac_vodka - 28-02-2019 Looks like plans are now confirmed and looks awesome - can`t wait to see more details - gutted I`ll need a new home for a while :) RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Paplane - 28-02-2019 Fan consultations, final design work, planning application, production drawings, tendering/costing, contractor mobilisation all done in 14 months? Sounds tight to me. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - ac_vodka - 28-02-2019 There is a statement from EM which suggests we now own the land versus lease or had it extended indefinitely - which is it and whats the difference ? RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - the jock - 28-02-2019 this is unbelievable news to wake upto. brilliant RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Mcforest - 28-02-2019 38,000 it for the right size for our club. Really happy they didn't go for a super stadium where the sound is lost. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - BarryLyons - 28-02-2019 Evangelos Marinakis confirms Nottingham Forest stadium plans and says the City Ground 'is our home and we will remain here forever' Forever. Brilliant. Count me in. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Salvatore Matrecano - 28-02-2019 Just Wow. This is simply brilliant. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Mcforest - 28-02-2019 Evangelos Marinakis is fast becoming my man crush RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Salvatore Matrecano - 28-02-2019 A bit of quick mental arithmetic, that would imply new Peter Taylor stand has a capacity of around 13k. Thats pretty big. Possibly they are extending the Bridgford too? Im maybe reading too much into the artist drawing but I dont see the famous sloping roof of the Bridford on that picture. Could they be extending the upper tier of that if they have resolved the right to light issue? RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Duncan Mckenzie - 28-02-2019 Absolutely superb news.
RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Duncan Mckenzie - 28-02-2019 * Peter Taylor stand re-built. * Bridgford End alterations. * Signifcant work on all areas of the ground. * Club extend lease with City Council. * Subject to permission, work starts in Summer 2020. |
