He is league 1 or 2 player at best. I thought the same Alf! Even when Wes left there were people still saying he wasnt good enough for us. RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - Mcforest - 14-08-2019 I think he has some development to go for sure but he is going to be one hell of a good player when he hits his prime. He is league 1 or 2 player at best. People were saying similar about Ben Osborn who now plays in the prem. I will stick my neck out and say that Worrall has more chance of playing in the Prem than in League 1 or 2. RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - TheGreenMan - 14-08-2019 Joe hasnāt done much wrong this season, long may it continue. RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - Kranky - 14-08-2019 Big fan of Joe. Much to improve on but he's progressing, loves the club and plays with passion. Happy with him being in the starting 11 RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - ThePromisedLand - 14-08-2019 Pleased to see so many seeing so many positives. We will see. Granted their passing ability is comparable. I hope Joe proves me wrong. He had a good if inconsistent season with Rangers, played in the Champions league and Old Firm matches and did well. I reckon he is pretty good in the air, the weakness I thought was that he occasionally gets caught out of position, whether that is down to lack of pace I dont know. What is overlooked is his attitude and leadership abilities, he has this in spades for me and we desperately lack a leader figure in the squad apart from Dawson and Watson who are both at the end of their time. Wes was never the greatest defender but if a few more we have had down the years shared his commitment we would have been promoted long ago. RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - Marinakis Red - 15-08-2019 The one thing is lamouchi keeps talking about dominating the ball, that will be worrall's downfall, he constantly gives it away. I think this will see him drop out sooner rather than later. In L1 he was regularly slated for being slow, having the turning circle of a cruise liner, and being hit & miss in the air (although granted, few ever complained about his strength.). Personally I think Joe's still got a long way to go, but he's got the foundation to be a top Champ/lower prem player. As someone who was already the target of a rumoured 10m bid, I'm glad we're investing game time in him too. RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - McDurban - 15-08-2019 Jamaal Lascalles was another who took some criticism, look at the lad now, a seasoned Premiership campaigner plus captain. Joe Worrall has the same future ahead of him IMO. |
