It's a *lot* of money whichever it is (presuming the £600 is for highest-category games). I'd like to think the club made sure there was a market for it before splashing out on the investment.
Especially when you consider the Exec Boes in the Clough Stand & the Trent End hospitality has been at best two-thirds full for the opening few home games.

Hasn’t been done for the plebs like us, but if they can encourage more hospitality for the big home games I suppose it will be beneficial on the balance sheet

I may be a pleb but Ive done plenty of corporate functions down the years both on the event organising and receiving the freebie side.
Could be wrong but not sure there are that many companies/organisations that offer rewards or incentives that are particularly high in value (excluding bonuses etc). When Ive organised events you are normally aiming at a cost per head below £200 or so day rate. Not many that can afford to splash out the sums quoted. Team building away days are usually based around a meeting aligned to the area of business in some format and usually on a weekday. Pretty unusual to get a no strings attached fun day out whether you are a staff member or a customer. Then if its a reward, a football match is fairly divisive, its definitely not something a lot of people are remotely interested in.
Which leaves me to conclude most of the uptake for these boxes will be around groups, birthdays & stag parties etc and you would think that it would have to be affordable to them.
On the corporate side, proper large conferencing rooms that can be hired out on a weekday, preferably with a hotel attached or nearby remain in demand, particularly if in a unique venue. It’s something we have missed out on and why investment in the ground is badly needed. Possible these units could host some smaller individual meetings on non match days too?

I worked for a corporate and we had a box at Man U, 6 seats at West Brom, 4 seats at Chelsea. We also hat tickets for various one offs Wembley, Silverstone, games at Villa Park. In addition our suppliers provided tickets. The Samsung box at Chelsea was a different level, Abramovich was in the next one.
One of our supplier had 4 seats in the Legends Lounge and went regularly to Forest. Many more had boxes at other grounds Shrewsbury, Port Vale and went occasionally it was all claimed as an expense. The biggest one was Worcester Bosch who had a box for 12 people at the Rugby and about 20 seats in the hospitality lounge.
The higher the profile of the club the easier it will be to fill these places.

In The Athletic today; "Forest have begun the process of trying to buy up some of the housing beside the ground to help those plans become reality. If everything goes to plan, the club believe they can increase capacity from its current limit of 30,000 to 42,000 by developing two new stands".

Great news.
You'd imagine if we get what we want they will complete the main stand before expanding the Bridgford.
On the basis that they'd have it 2 tier all the way and joining with the new main stand.

I agree you would want the two to join up seamlessly at the corner but if it’s possible technically, I think I’d build the bridgford extension first so we can accommodate more fans whilst the main stand is done following that.

Ahhhh right, you mean because it's a quicker job so match day attendance would only be slightly down?
