It’s catching…or not

Forest concede direct from a corner.

Can’t score and concede direct from a corner? They’re looking for a place in the first team.

I hope the pies and bovril are good, must be chilly.

I actually had a pie, bovril and snickers meal deal for £7, it was the highlight of the night!

Two nil.

Very weak at the back.

Abbott looks nowhere near ready for the first team squad.

The Academy is the one big disappointment for me since we've got back in the Premier League. It doesn't seem like there are any players remotely close to being good enough to make the step up. Obviously the squad quality is higher so it's more difficult but it'd be great to have one or two knocking at the door yet it doesn't seem like there's anyone anywhere near that.

It was more enjoyable than Bournemouth!

The only player tonight who looks anywhere near capable is Nwosu, he looks the part to me but probably needs six months playing in League One or a lower half Championship side.

None of the rest stood out to be honest, the team seemed worse than when I saw them last season (can’t remember if that was Morecombe or Carlisle).

There’s no identity to our style of play.

The back five want to pass it around like one of Pep’s teams but then it just gets hit long and aimlessly at some point.

I wonder if we'll ever get to a place where we say 'Right, this is how we play football' and the identity runs from first team through all the academy stages and all managerial appointments are based on *that* - rather than being short-term fixes?
