I have heard EM described as a few things before but never a hanger on.
His team participated in the competition so why shouldn't he be there.

Just like the World Cup or a big event like the Olympics, organisers allocate probably 5-10% of tickets to guests and normally the best seats

Every time i see a suit at an event like that I always think its a seat taken away from a true fan of one of the clubs involved who's life ambition was maybe to be there in that stadium on that night.
As a man and boy supporter of Forest how would you feel about being denied a seat in the european cup final by the ex ceo of Maribor, or the son of the owner of Lincoln Red Imps?

Sniff it was a comment aimed at all the corporate suits that attend from every club.
You don’t need to leap to EM’s defence every time someone makes the slightest barbed remark.

I don't but this is the EM thread and I thought it might be of interest to some so I simply mentioned that he was at the match.
The thread then went off track with corporate suits, ex Maribor CEO's and Lincoln Red Imps etc. That was not what my post was about, it was about EM and it was in the EM thread.
Anyway as not to bore everyone to tears I will shut up about it now.
