Any team, can beat any team.

if everyone was so good at predicting results everyone would be millionaires from Sports Betting and doing the Pools.

The magic of the cup is the underdog beating the favourites..........that is what makes it special and why people love it.

If we beat Udders and play Liverpool, over 99% of the footballing world who are watching will be cheering for Forest to beat Liverpool. Pretty much the global support base of football will be cheering us on, for the underdog to beat the favourite.

Massive incentive now for Monday night and there is always that chance and what a day that would be :0

RE: Forest - FA Cup - Tricky - 04-03-2022

If it is played on 19th March, there are no matches after that due to the international break, so there is no excuse for worrying about players being tired for the league as the next game after isn't until 2nd April.

We play QPR on the Wednesday before the cup match while Liverpool face Arsenal, so it will be an interesting cup tie

I seem to recall you saying the same thing before the Arsenal game Pap.

If we want Prem football we've gotta get out of this mentality.

Agreed. Imagine having Pap as our coach :giggle:

It would be a fantastic game! Completely no pressure, only slight downside would be a massive loss and I don't even think that would cause us much of an issue.

Just have to focus on Udders.....would be a real shame to lose that and not get the opportunity to face Liverpool at the WFCG

I have spoken to many Liverpool fans of the older generation over the years and most of them have said they miss playing Forest as there used to be some brilliant matches between the two sides. I am sure the majority of older Liverpool fans would want us to beat Udders, so that they get to play us again!

Lol.  :giggle: Go out there lads and give it your best. Try to keep the score down to 5 or 6.

I just don't like going to game knowing the odds are massivly stacked against us. I'd be well up for it if we had drawn Boro or one of the weaker prem sides. I suppose my negative outlook is a reaction to the way the top clubs have completely taken over the game. You mention Arsenal, they were beaten because they arrived in Nottingham with the completely wrong attitude. We were brilliant and they were all wrong. Their millionaire players thought they would just turn up and roll us over. That's all what's wrong with the game at the top level now, the top clubs have all the money, players, facilities and power. My concern about the scousers is that they'll be bang on for the game. They'll be well prepared and up for it. They're probably the 2nd best team in Europe atm. No team can live with them, they're on a roll. Let's face it, it we beat them it'll be the biggest giant killing in the game for years.

In my opinion the perfect scenario! No pressure on our lads, go and express yourselves and they would undoubtedly play well! All the pressure on the scousers, which would potentially lead to mistakes!

But.......focus on Udders!!!!

Yep, Udders is a really, really hard game. If we dismiss them, like it seems everyone has this season, they'll do us over. They won down here a few months ago. Most of us put it down to a freak result as we pummelled them without scoring, but they've shown they can go into to those types of games and get results. That's why they're now 3rd in the league. I'm putting the scousers to the back of my mind now.

RE: Forest - FA Cup - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-03-2022

Don't really want to talk about it because we have 2 massive games in the next 4 days but I am sure that Liverpool WON'T be relishing a trip to the WFCG.
