RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - Duncan Mckenzie - 10-11-2019 My confidence is returning following 2 victories against Luton and Derby. 3 points off an auto place with a game in hand. Nicely placed... RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - Kylos247 - 10-11-2019 Very nicely indeed. However the next 4 fixtures are tough games. RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - ThePromisedLand - 10-11-2019 All ifs & buts I know - but win game in hand & we’d be 5 points clear of 7th placed club. RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - Salvatore Matrecano - 10-11-2019 More or less one third of the way through the season on 28 points. Extrapolating our points per game over 46 games would finish us on 85pts. Over the last 5 seasons that would always have have been enough for a 3rd or 4th finish. In 3 of the last 5 seasons, 89 points would give you 2nd place. I want us to be 5 points clear of the 3rd place club. I want top two. The play offs fill me with dread. RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - ozzyten10 - 10-11-2019 We are not top 2. We don’t create enough or score enough. We have a decent defence and top 6 is a realistic target. I’d love a forward to come in and have the same effect on the team as say Samba has as a goalie. Over to Modesto et al for that. Would you swap carvalho for Podence for 6 months??? I would! RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - ThePromisedLand - 10-11-2019 But will a top forward make a big difference - other than create an alternative to Lewis. Can’t see Sabri playing 2 up front. Hence any ‘game changer’ is more likely to be another fast raiding winger? RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - Username - 10-11-2019 Did anyone see the shots statistics that were on Sky just prior to kick off yesterday? I was slightly hungover so didn’t really absorb them. RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - PsychoStanleyStone - 10-11-2019 (10-11-2019, 09:10 PM)ozzyten10 Wrote: We are not top 2. I think alot more of the 'vpmriuejpd's' will start registering as shots on target, failing that corners, free kicks and penalities. There is a huge potential in this area which is good especially as so many other aspects of our performances are so solid and consistent. Basically we finish Top 4, possibly top 2. The league table suggests that we are not far off though and with the January window still to come. RE: Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up? - Kranky - 11-11-2019 I'd be happy with Marcus Maddison, Hutton till end of season to cover for Cash, or a cheeky loan for James Justin.. and give this Shanks fella a go. I'm pretty sure non of the above will happen and it'll be more cheap player's from Europe who'll end up proving me wrong. |
