“Over the last 10 years, the city of Nottingham has lacked the confidence and ambition of the other big regional cities of Manchester and Birmingham. Nottingham needed a new leader to be brave, ambitious, to invest and be honest"
Its hard to argue against needing a new stadium but this will kill it for me and its already pretty close with how we've been run over the past few weeks/months.

I don’t disagree with a single word of that. We all have a massive emotional attachment to the city ground but logic dictates that if we want to compete at the top end of the premier league we need the advantages a bigger multi use stadium will bring. head needs to rule heart and not the other way around.

If we do indeed finish up in a new stadium I believe it will be designed in such a way and be built in situation that when we all reflect some years later, agree this was the best move for us!.

So what can we read into that?
I would say tennis courts, swimming pool, basketball, a gym, cinema, restaurants, museum, hotel, etc etc.

Is this actually true?
Yes it is, look at a league table of wages and compare it to actual positions (it's depressingly close) with some outliers. What defines how much wages teams can spend, revenue.

Well I’m guessing that Olympiakos and Leverkeusen aren’t in the top 50 richest clubs in Europe?
Finishing 4th in the EPL shouldn’t be deemed a success.

That's a knockout competition so it's a bit different as it's affected by the draw but yes those are outliers. There's nuance with regards to priorities etc too.
Picking out exceptions doesn't make the general rule not true.
