If I had one major criticism of CH so far its that he doesn't have appeared to have adapted his tactics with regards to squad rotation to account for the amount of matches.
We need to make more changes earlier purely to rest players for future games, avoid injuries and hopefully influence existing games. Making few subs is fine in a normal world but in current world we can't afford this approach IMO.
yes, CH has also got the team working very hard, i thought Ribs and Christie had really good games and as well as many others covered a terrific amount of distance, we are vulnerable to injuries, the players giving everything. You could argue he has them all working a bit too hard, often chasing games as well.

relatively, almost constant same game plan, which to be fair was working quite well last night but if we could factor in changes in tempo which is a challenge.
i thought when we pushed well up like for corners in the 2nd half, with all the players high up the pitch we were succesful at quickly reclaiming possession and the attacks had shorter distances to cover and the opportunities came around much quicker, though ironically as a result mainly of having to chase the game as opposed to CH taking more initiative when on level terms
CH unfortunately does not like gamble, ie leave Taylor on, put Guerrero alongside and still factor Mighten for some tired legs as well, i really think we could of won last night

I personally do not blame Chris Hughton one bit for what's happening at present.
He picks the players and with precious few exceptions they have not been doing their jobs any where near well enough. This includes any changes or those who played previously that are sat on the bench.
I would like to see a bit more of Mighten, that's it. There have been calls for Jenkinson and Iouanno which just shows how desperate people feel.
The players need to take 99% of the responsibility this time. Tactical set up and being more attacking means nothing and is just bullsh1t if we keep conceding sloppy goals, we wont turn this around if Klopp, Mourinho and Guardiola take over unless this stops.
To pre-empt the "he coaches them" reply. Do you not think he tries to get Figs to f@cking concentrate at set pieces? Does anyone think he hasn't told him to watch the run of Dalsgard ? There are multiple other examples I could use, but it comes down to players not being good enough, confident enough or in good enough form to do their jobs properly.
The second goal, fair enough terrific break when we're pushing. The other two goals? Schoolboy stuff (apologies to schoolboys everywhere it was worse).
Changing the manager would be ridiculous and quite frankly embarrassing in my opinion at this stage.

Agree, when can people accept we have an average squad that overachieved last year. Since then we lost our best two players and have had our top scorer and best defender out for most of the season too.
CH did not buy the players, arter could not be more disappointing either. I'm confident he'll gradually improve the team. Would be insane to sack him

Aye and that turned out to be a great signing, signing players just because they were half good once, bet it cost a small fortune for his loan fee too, its like folk saying getting grosici will help us, signing old players on 20k plus a week got us in this mess anyway, how long before the ownership wakes up and realise's that talent and pace is the way forward, introducing hungry youngens, signing up and coming players like dembele, has anyone checked hughtons past at signings 80% were 28 plus, i like experience in the team, but we have that many oldies were as slow as a tug boat, its nailed on tomorrow that the only changes will be the suspended ones, and no youngens will get a start,
Full team is rotten, board, manager, players, were a joke

I know it's a bit against the grain but yes, I think we should. The results are bad but it's his approach as well that I can't buy into.
Unfortunately it sounds like there are deeper problems at the club but of the things that need to change for the better one of them is the manager.

He really needs January and the summer before we can judge him in my opinion.

Are there any Bielsa protege’s out there? Heinze was meant to be a follower but he’s gone to Atlanta. It’s so refreshing to watch a team just trying to score.
