Worrall has only looked truly comfortable in a back three.

I was hardly concerned with Cook and McKenna as a duo

Two CHs that would walk into any Top 6 Championship side.

Cook was the final piece of the CH puzzle for me.

Gives us that experience to play a back 4.

Your comment on Worrall is noted. He always seemed better to me when he had an older head alongside him. eg. Dawson and then Cook. He's still a relatively young player himself.

Mckenna is always a contender for Motm. He is always a 7.5 or 8 out of 10. Rarely has a below par game. Him and Cook were excellent yesterday and with Joe's injury, going to need to keep them both fit for next 6 weeks.

Would go so far as to say if we lose one of them for any length of time over next 6 weeks it could derail our push  for playoffs -especially McKenna.

Maybe a touch harsh on Figs who has actually done OK under Cooper.

McKenna has quietly assumed the mantle of the player we thought we were getting from Aberdeen.

His T1000 performances have been quietly noteworthy.  He's a real leader.  In a loud quiet sort of way.

Losing Worrall, you can see Cooper saw this coming and brought Cook in.  Future proofing.

That said.  We need Worrall back ASAP.

Great player and a great signing what a bargain.

Just read he won every single headed duel in sheep game even when they sent Davies up front. That initself is pretty incredible.

He is a rock. It wouldn't suprise me if Ukraine try to sign him to repel the russian onslaught.

He has been excellent but I don't think he's been as good as Johnson for me. Perhaps more consistent though.

RE: Scott McKenna - Salvatore Matrecano - 02-03-2022

Its often the unsung hero that wins player of the season votes and Scott definitely ticks that box.
