Worth noting they played a full strength side for their last three games which were Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday so we can expect plenty of changes. I would assume a team close to the side that faced Norwich. I think we can beat that team (although the injuries will make it harder)

Yates into defence.........Colback into the middle.........Richie to start at LWB. (if McKenna is rested)

Why not ?

We looked so much more dangerous when we had Osei-Tutu flying down the left wing (very briefly)........and introducing Richie into the mix might catch Liverpool out..........Spence flying down one wing and Richie down the other............

This is definitely one of the main options although I suspect if it put Yates back in defence you'd see Cafu come in.

Personally I'd prefer we stuck with the same formation and just picked Soh or Panzo. Also, is it worth discussing that fully fit, Colback should start LWB ahead of Lowe allowing everyone else to play in their best positions?

Seems to me Cooper plays the next people on the bench........so as Richie is on the bench and Panzo and Soh are not......then the next chance to start goes to Richie and either Panzo or Soh will take his place on the bench.

Yeah you're probably right, it does seem that way. Although worth noting they did both play in the U23s the day before so perhaps that was the reason for their lack of inclusion. Maybe not for Liverpool but in general it really does feel like the perfect opportunity to introduce them into the side.

Panzo could well be on the bench on Sunday I reckon.

One of him or Soh will have to be if McKenna is out!

People said Soh landed awkwardly (on his neck?) and got took of at half time in the U23 match.

Panzo being the left footed CB probably should be the one to replace McKenna if his withdrawal is serious. He played 22 games in Ligue 1 last season and although he hadn’t played regularly this season before we bought him that’s a lot more then mbe Soh recently!

Well we won't be seeing TAA on Sunday as he's got a hamstring injury.

Could be Milner - think he's covered there before.

Gomez has played there too, I'd take Johnson going up against Milner!
