In my mind there's absolutely no pressure at all on us to achieve anything this season considering where we've come from. That's why we need to firmly fix our sights on pushing Bournemouth.

Completely agree. It's a no lose mindset, everything to gain, minimal pressure!

Agreed, lets just enjoy each game as it comes. This is a potential playoff match too, if we both got there, so an interesting test. One thing I'd say has defined us under SC compared to previous Forest teams is we are much better against direct, physical teams than we have been. We don't get pushed back and intimidated and then unleash Spence and Brennan on them. Luton didn't look great in the last 10 v Peterborough that I watched.

A nice two day extra break for us too as they play tonight

Slightly  :off: this but people always equate the extra time a team has over it's opponents as being all about rest. I think just as significant factor is the additional prep time gained on the training field dedicated to overcoming the opponent's system.

Either way it works in our favour, in this case SC can even watch the game tonight live if he wants for some live scouting. A nice 0-0 with 10 red cards please

Completely agree with this. It's been a brilliant season whatever happens.

RE: Luton Town - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-04-2022

You look at the league table and think away to the 5th placed side and a draw would do very nicely thank you.

That said if we have serious aspirations of where we want to be playing, this game is Luton Town away. Next year we might be having to play Manchester City away. We cant be afraid of Friday night and play for a draw and Im sure we wont. Lets have em Forest.

RE: Luton Town - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 11-04-2022

Cooper don't do playing for draws. We'll go for it like every game.

RE: Luton Town - Nottingham Forest - BadDog - 11-04-2022

Luton's last 2 results have been draws, they aren't all that at the minute they drew to Peterborough and Millwall, let's have them.

Absolutely how it should be - how many times have we seen a manager set up to get a draw and lose the match.  And this team has nothing to fear from Luton - yes, they will need to up their performance from the one against Brum but the way things are unfolding, there is no side in this league that this squad should fear.

Incredible times - probably worth looking back at some of the threads from August and early September to get a measure of how far this club has come under Cooper. Astonishing

This is our biggest game of the season so far. Could really make it interesting if we can take 3 points

Just bitter that I never got a ticket thanks to the joke organisation and release of the tickets even though I had ample loyalty points...

It's still the only game I'm thinking about...

RE: Luton Town - Nottingham Forest - Jasper Scarrott - 12-04-2022

Injuries appear to be mounting for Luton but we have had our fair share too.

RE: Luton Town - Nottingham Forest - DR Forest - 12-04-2022

Double incentive to win this one- firstly it puts us really really well placed for the play offs and allows us the comfort of a few hiccups…. Plus, if we are serious about getting into the top two, it’s a ‘must win’ game to put the pressure on bournmouth now that a few cracks are showing as we get to the business end.
