I’d personally drop the 433. Toney out is good for us as he really is a fulcrum for them. 3 home games in a week! RE: Nottingham Forest - Brentford - tugger2018 - 03-11-2022 So would nobody play Hennessy he is huge and would probably stop all the long shots going in that teams have targeted against us ? RE: Nottingham Forest - Brentford - wassy04 - 03-11-2022 This game really is massive isn't it! Stating the obvious. Really feels like the rest of the season hinges on these two games. 4 points and we go into the window with Cooper and can plan for consistency. 0 or 1 and it feels likely they'll make the change (which I'm obviously very against). Two draws would be a toss up. Come on boys, now is the time to step up and show we belong. Lets create some chances, take them and also get some luck. No long range goals please. MGW and whoever starts out of Lingard and Brennan, it's on them to create and take some of these chances. Agree, 4 points saves Cooper and is the minimum we should be achieving if we fancy our chances in this league. I'd say 3 and it's not looking good. We cant lose any more home games to teams we need to finish around/above. Imo any less than 3 and it's curtains for Cooper, and the Big Man rolls the dice to see if another coach can salvage anything from the season. RE: Nottingham Forest - Brentford - Paplane - 03-11-2022 Just because Toney isn't playing we don't need to be complacent. Brentford could easily still do us without him. But they have a poor away record so far and it looks like a game we could have a shot at winning. What's Cooper going to do? Sit defensively again and try to hit them on the break a la Liverpool, or go for it and try to win a win? Who knows. Who would want his job? RE: Nottingham Forest - Brentford - Username - 03-11-2022 Brentford are a very good team and doing well at this level. We need to be at our best to get a result. Im a bit worried some attitudes among the fans are we just need to turn up to win, a bit like we were for the Bournemouth game. Having said that if we want to stay up then this has to be a must win game. RE: Nottingham Forest - Brentford - Username - 03-11-2022 ^agreed. Must be at least our third “must win” game of the season!!! I think it's a must win game if we want to keep the manager. We really do need a good front foot performance tomorrow. Could do with the likes of MGW, Jesse and Johnno showing something |
