RE: Serge Aurier - TrentEnd - 16-01-2023 I thought he was going to be a dreadful signing, how wrong was I? I would have him as player of the season at the moment. Everytime I see him, I can't believe we got him on a free. Definately need to get him signed up to a longer contract. Our improvement started when he came in. Pretty sure we have an option to extend it for a second year. RE: Serge Aurier - Paplane - 16-01-2023 He said in an interview he gets another year if we stay up. RE: Serge Aurier - ozzyten10 - 16-01-2023 His interview in the post is top notch and it’s clear to me he is a real leader on the pitch. Constantly talking and bollocking players when needed. He had 1 bad moment when he let Barnes run off him in the first half but again showed leadership by putting his hands up to the mistake. His left wing run and his cross for surridge chance were great. His deep crossing would really suit a taller striker - Lingard goal against spurs an example- Our best signing bar MGW for me. Wonder what his PPG is with and without this year? They were not at it at all yesterday for whatever reason. Hopefully they will both be back to their storming best against United on Wednesday if selected. RE: Serge Aurier - Derby My Arse - 11-02-2023 Thought Serge was back to his best when he came on against Leeds he probably just needed a bit of a rest I would definitely start him today. RE: Serge Aurier - Paplane - 11-02-2023 He had a hard day today, wapecially after he got booked early. Not his best game but did ok. RE: Serge Aurier - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 12-02-2023 He's blowing hot and cold recently. RE: Serge Aurier - wassy04 - 12-02-2023 Seen two fouls today similar to the one Aurier got booked for that they scored from indirectly. Very inconsistent as ever RE: Serge Aurier - Paplane - 12-02-2023 I thought he did ok. My point was that yesterday wasnt his best game for us. I suspect he's carrying a niggle, hence his dip from his massively high standard for us and why he wasnt started against Leeds. RE: Serge Aurier - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-08-2023 I will be hugely disappointed if Serge is allowed to leave. Thought he was immense vs Rashford today. Serge is under contract, playing well and a good fit with our system. Yep I get we have brought in someone with a world cup winners medal but we have no idea if he will work well or not. I am in the if it isn’t broken don’t fix it camp. I just don’t get it. Agree Salv. He's such a leader for us on the pitch. And he plays like one. |
