RE: Aston Villa - Nottingham Forest - Red Dog - 08-04-2023

Was watching the highlights from the 4-0 home win v West Brom last season and it shows once again the importance of Yates. If we can get him back for 5 or 6 (at least) of the games left, i reckon we will survive. Praying for a point today. Everton will get done at Utd and festa v bournemouth will be a draw

Red Dog, It's time Forest stopped relying on other teams around them to fail the only way we may survive in the PL is by our OWN efforts.

That's absolute crap, please stop peddling this. We could get 40 points and go down or 32 and stay up if other teams do badly.

It matters massively what everyone else does.

Obviously we also need some points but telling people they we can't support other teams to lose is baffling. If anything that's the kind of thing we can use to gain positive momentum.

Tend to agree with both of you. If you offered me 9 draws for us between now and the end of the season, I would snap your hands off. However we should be masters of own destiny.

The point i was trying to make about other teams is that either Festa / Bournemouth or both will get points as they play each other and Everton should get nothing at Old Trafford.

Apparently Villa play 5 at the back and sit and watch the opposition for 20 minutes working them out before taking the handbrake off. Goid luck with that today! Not even we know what our weaknesses are today as there are a lot of them.

Did I touch a nerve Wassy? Talking complete sense, look after our own business as we can not control other team results!

It just makes no sense and you keep saying it.

What do you think they're doing? Following the Bournemouth v Leicester game and then sticking another striker on if someone scores?

Why wouldn't you want teams around us to lose? It makes no sense.
