RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-10-2023 Agreed SM. RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - Jacksbadhobbits - 27-10-2023 i thought Everton were a bit unlucky not to get a point there last week. As usual the result hung on a couple of decisions by the ref which went in Liverpool’s favour. They are a good team but not unbeatable. Personally I like our new formation. we have more possession and control in games. We lack a bit of cutting edge without Taiwo and of course Brennan. I don’t think changing the formation will alter that. It’s a personnel problem. The most likely result is a narrow defeat but I expect us to be competitive and make Liverpool work hard for the points and if that is the case it is not impossible we get something. RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - wassy04 - 27-10-2023 After a couple of games in a row where there was justified expectation of a good chance to win, this game is much more of a free hit. Liverpool rested some players last night but still had Trent and a few others that will likely start vs us playing so that gives us a bit more of a chance. Perhaps the release in pressure of trying to force a win and a return to low block, counters will allow us to produce another big performance. A shock win, however it came, would be such a release for the team. We matched them pretty well last season across both games, they don't like facing a low block and are susceptible on the break so there is a recipe for success. I wonder whether we sneak Taiwo back on the bench too. RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - Simon - 27-10-2023 Correct me if i'm wrong but this game doesn't seem to be on TV at the weekend ? RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - Portchester Tricky - 27-10-2023 Why the 1400 kick off if its not on Sky FFS ? Europa League, it's not on Sky as it's deemed essentially a 3pm Saturday kick off. RE: Liverpool - Nottingham Forest - Portchester Tricky - 27-10-2023 Thanks for the explanation. Think Serge will play above Toff but otherwise yes. Not really sure what other tactic we could play, we don't have any other attacking options anyway. |
