Going into home games with a negative set up vs teams we need to be competing with in mid table isnt what we should be doing. Cooper got slaughtered on here for using similar tactics to what Nuno did today.

Yep, I broadly agree with playing pragmatically (as I did with Cooper) but Fulham at home after we battered them last year, really?

Home atmosphere isn’t what it was is it?
There seems to be this myth built up that it has always been fantastic but in truth it wasn’t until towards the end of our promotion season. It stayed good all first season back and occasionally last season but we seem to have returned to base level.
Its a shame when we are having our biggest ever crowds, a bit of complacency and a bit of needing to react to excitement on the pitch to get going. But think it is to an extent affecting us on the pitch IMO.

We should have started with at least one winger yesterday no doubt but all this came when we started trying to play more attacking at home. We are easier to play against.

There's obviously some central midfield concerns but we are going into the break on a high (again) and returning against a winless side at home.
We really need a city ground performance against Palace to pull away from the bottom teams.

Pull away? 7 points clear after 7 games is pretty amazing in the Prem.

I agree with you. What im saying is that over the course of a season we won't pull away from the teams that just survive without beating some of the teams around us at home. I'm talking bottom 5 not bottom 3.
Palace is a huge game to separate ourselves from that.
