RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - Username - 23-10-2024 I watched their game on Saturday, they only have two attacking threats: Buononette (the chap on loan from Brighton) and Fataweh (who Cooper doesn't appear to want to play from the start). Hopefully Moreno is fit to deal with Fataweh and Yates goes man to man with Buononotte. If so we have a great chance at three points. I hope Coops gets a good reception from the travelling trickies and reminds the Lesta fans who he'd rather be with. RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - Username - 23-10-2024 If MGW isn't 100% fit (there's no point in rushing him back) as we need him over the course of the season to be at his best then I'd go with: Sels Aina - Milenkovic - Murillo - Moreno Jota Sila - Yates - JWP - Anderson - CHO Wood RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - Trailer Park Tom - 23-10-2024 I don't get why Elanga has turned into the bench bomb squad. CHO has done no more than him this season. We should be wanting him to get a goal so we can get the best from him. We need more goals from all our players other than Wood. As for the formation and lineup I just haven't a clue. You want to keep a winning team but that might be walking into a Cooper trap. I just honestly haven't got a clue what Nuno is going to do. Would take a draw. RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - The reds - 23-10-2024 We just need to be a bit more clinical. Attacking Stats 109 shots, 43 shots on target, 8 goals, 10.1 XG- Forest 76 shots, 25 shots on target, 12 goals, 8.3 XG - Leicester Defending stats 112 shots, 31 on target, 6 goals, 8.6 XG - Forest 147 shots, 50 on target, 14 goals, 16.6 XG - Leicester RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - McDurban - 23-10-2024 Coopers teams sit deep, I don't think that is a game for Elanga. Both Jota and Anderson have shown they can do the unexpected and go past players, causing a bit of panic. So Anderson and Jota to start for me in the 10 and right wing. You will see that on the Palace thread that I was complimentary of Elanga’s set pieces. Surely this is more about Jota Silva having earned a start? Our most consistent threat in the first 45 minutes was his delivery from set pieces. I had a great view of the attacking first half right from the lower bridgford and had no issue with Jota replacing him. Good change I thought. He put in a lower average performance but also created some dangerous chances. He needs a run. But also CHO, MGW, Anderson JWP and Yates need to contribute more goals. Not just Elanga. We aren't countering as much at home and he has been benched a few times away. Moving on to Leicester he might miss out due to tactics but I have no idea which way Nuno will go. Recently Jonno wasn't good enough for Spurs and Sels wasn't a premier league number 1. Confidence is the key. Dont forget all the Chris Wood abuse, how Newcastle had our pants down and the Greeks were stupid to buy Wood........... .... Off topic a bit but I like to say I fess up when Im wrong. I was highly critical of the Wood deal, I always thought he was an effective player but thought the deal was terrible.Of course he got injured nearly straight away and was at the time publicised as a 1 year deal total cost with loan fees and wages £25m. But when it turned out to be 2 years those amortised costs look far better. Then Chrissy himself showed he was not only effective but an absolute machine and a true leader on the pitch then yep I look a total prat for criticism. In my defence I believe EM was none too pleased with the deal himself at first! But yes sorry Woody. Right give the man an extended contract. RE: Leicester City - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 24-10-2024 These are lovely problems for us to have. Should we start JWP or Dominguez, should Jota start, Elanga needs to play, Anderson can be better than MGW. What a great bunch of problems we have! |
