I would pick the team he wants to start vs Burnley personally if I was Ange. He knows he's not exactly got a long leash, why risk massive rotation and losing.

Obviously fitness wise, he may want to rotate the guys that travelled far.

Now what he thinks is his best team, no idea!

Not injured.
Ange name checked him after Arsenal game saying he would be involved on Weds

I'm not going to put too much thought into this because I haven't got a clue how the team will look.

It's the biggest first round of the cup game we've had in a while and I'm looking forward to it.

See what happens but we definitely need momentum for Saturday.

Normally I can't get excited about our first League Cup game of the season.

However this one feels different and it feels important.

We need a good performance, a win and to get some new boys on the pitch.

Feel exactly the same. Been looking forward to this for ages (I'd written off the Arsenal game in my head).

Absolutely couldn’t agree more.

We need a performance and a win for confidence, stopping the poor run, building momentum, getting the new lads involved, something for the fans ahead of Burnley and Europe next week, and for Ange.

Feels bigger than just our first game in the league cup.

Feeling nervous and excited.

This could be a real banana skin that cranks up the pressure. Hope I’m wrong and we play well and a couple of new players get some confidence but I’m fearing the worst!

Team News.

I thought that was Emanuel Dennis when it first loaded up!

Well that’s about as expected with a lot of rotation. My heart would like to see Abott and Jair Cunha but probably best to have the experience there.

Strong bench!
