RE: Osborn Off? - Paplane - 04-11-2018 He might not be our best player but he gives a valuable contribution. He must be this week's scapegoat. I noticed he had strapping on his leg yesterday. RE: Osborn Off? - Kylos247 - 04-11-2018 Hang on it weren't so long ago he was involved in nearly every goal we scored. He's a great player to have in the squad. I certainly would be gutted if he left. When he's left back I must admit he's awful there, he's much better further a field. I'd rather get funds from our dead wood than selling a good squad player. RE: Osborn Off? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 04-11-2018 I haven't heard anything but I can't see Benny going anywhere. RE: Osborn Off? - ThePromisedLand - 04-11-2018 1+1 does not equal 3 RE: Osborn Off? - Strawberry Avenger - 04-11-2018 (04-11-2018, 12:13 PM)Kylos247 Wrote: Hang on it weren't so long ago he was involved in nearly every goal we scored. Think he got injured in training a few weeks back? Not been quite the same since. He's clearly not 100%. Ergo: on bench. He'll be back. SA. RE: Osborn Off? - BadDog - 04-11-2018 His Dad is just a bit of a drama queen. He did say it but now he's saying good win yesterday. He spoke in the heat of the moment it seems. RE: Osborn Off? - Redgirl - 04-11-2018 Feel sorry for Ben he's been made to play in a position that quite clearly doesn't suit him. I can imagine him being a bit miffed on being dropped to the bench. As we now have the quality which has been missing previously I can see him being squeezed out. In which case no one would blame him for wanting a move. RE: Osborn Off? - BadDog - 04-11-2018 He's a good squad player but anything over 5mill I'd take it and re-invest. RE: Osborn Off? - TrickySte - 04-11-2018 If his Dad's gonna kick off after missing his first game in 3 years then Ben needs to have a word. Teams are picked on merit and Osborn has been very poor recently. RE: Osborn Off? - ThePromisedLand - 04-11-2018 I’m a big fan of Benny but he was - by his standards - poor @ Burton & couldn’t complain at being benched yesterday. RE: Osborn Off? - Salvatore Matrecano - 04-11-2018 When he is on form he is my first choice on left side of midfield. I think playing left back has dented his confidence somewhat, he was very poor against both Norwich and Burton. Must be said some of his midfield performances havent been great recently either, he has misplaced a lot of passes. Its a squad game and he needs to earn his place on merit, therfore if he isnt on form and if others are playing better then tough. |
