16 votes in so far and all have voted 'stronger'.

With a bit more luck from refs, a bit better away form and better discipline we CAN do this.

The players have been bought in that know how to play a certain way in (a) certain system(s) they will be able to press and pass, and pass it to a red shirt hopefully!

Absolutely Jock. It was cruel at times, it really was.

Last year we were hard done with regard to refereeing decisions but what about injuries? Dawson got injured at a crucial point having looked imperious before that. Then we lost Grabban which set us back too. Two very influential players for us to lose.

This summer we've brought in all these players and in who get's injured? Our one and only right back. You couldn't make it up.

And in previous years what about injuries to Assombalonga, Andy Reid, Fryatt, Chris Cohen, Jack Hobbs? All massively influential and/or important players for us at the time who's loss derailed the entire season.

It's our turn to get a bit of good luck for once.

All teams get injuries. Our recruitment has generally been poor but whilst we are in the championship, it is a real problem. We can get quality players but all have floors- age, injuries, fitness. Reid is a good example. A very gifted player who was blighted by poor fitness and injuries - flawed genius. Players without these flaws - António end up in the premiership or don’t have the quality (I was going to say Osborn here but he is in the prem!)

Agree to an extent but during the mid Fawaz years, it was unbelievable how much bad luck we had with injuries. It was like a curse. And the injuries occurred to such key players.

That would be much different if there had been a 'don't know' option though Sniff, IMO

We’ve lost Colback, but we are stronger everywhere else. Silva looks like a skilful player, and Semedo is the box to box midfielder we lacked last year. We will improve on last season’s 9th in my opinion.

We can't get rid of Lolley now . Pretty much throwing any ambition out the window if we do that .

Amazing isn't it . One minute Villa are on their arse the next they're throwing money around like confetti.
