RE: Alfredo Semedo - Mcforest - 12-08-2019 Can totally see why they don't want to sell him. If he carries on like this a big money will becoming their way for his signature. RE: Alfredo Semedo - Duncan Mckenzie - 13-08-2019 Early days but I am very impressed with what I have seen of Semedo so far. I think we can see now why Benfica would not sell him to Liverpool. Yes, I think Benfica see him in their starting eleven next season. RE: Alfredo Semedo - Paplane - 13-08-2019 But I'm not getting ahead of myself. He's had one ok performance and one decent one in his first 2 games. Fingers crossed it isn't, but the next could be stinker. Also, if he continues to perform well then teams will look to nullify him. But he's made a good first impression and when he fills out physically he's going to be a seriously formidable midfielder. RE: Alfredo Semedo - Maltared - 13-08-2019 If Sow and Bostock turn out to be on the same wavelength, we will have a hell of a midfield RE: Alfredo Semedo - Paplane - 13-08-2019 (13-08-2019, 11:24 AM)Maltared Wrote: If Sow and Bostock turn out to be on the same wavelength, we will have a hell of a midfield Sow looked really composed when he came on on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised how well he did as I had him down as a bit of a clogger and disrupter type. He picked the ball up in dangerous areas and found his next pass without much fuss. Just what we needed at the time. He got booked with a rash challenge so he's going to have to learn what he can and cant do in this league. That's fair enough. But as we found out with Colback last season, if you want a hard tackling midfielder then you're probably going to have to accept that he's going to be booked a fair bit. If he's not going to be an ever-present then maybe he can avoid the suspensions that Colback suffered from. RE: Alfredo Semedo - BadDog - 13-08-2019 Sow had a 92.8% pass accuracy when he came on, the boy is big and strong but looks composed. Was great to see, maybe our scouts aren't as bad as people were trying to make before seeing anyone play a game? Yeah I was one of them, and liked what I saw on Saturday, and I did say I shall wait and see how he does I’ll get a proper idea of him as he plays more games. I hope he starts tonight RE: Alfredo Semedo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 13-08-2019 I hope we give Semedo a well earned rest tonight. RE: Alfredo Semedo - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 29-10-2019 If Semedo is not in the squad on Saturday then something is up surely? RE: Alfredo Semedo - TheGreenMan - 29-10-2019 Probably nothing, but he has just liked the latest Forest post on Instagram. But we desperately need him back in the squad ASAP. |
