RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Kranky - 16-09-2019 He was always going to be top draw. Playing alongside Dawson has helped him immensely. Only hope the club don't do something stupid and cash in on him. He's a former season ticket holder, Forest through and through and future captain. I'd like to think Ryan Yates will take note and kick onto greater things with us. Brennan and Mighten should be looking on and thinking there's no better place for me and my career right now. Joe Worrall has been a breath of fresh air. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Strawberry Avenger - 16-09-2019 (15-09-2019, 10:54 AM)PsychoStanleyStone Wrote: 3 true warriors, really giving everything. I confess i didn't think of these 3 as being prime contenders but yes, 3 of the first names on the team sheet for sure and don't think, even collectively, they cost a dime, amazing. That's a fine psycho count there. You need a good psycho count in a team that's going to get promoted. Credit the coach to play to their strengths. Dawson was everything good about the team that did well before Christmas last year. And everything the team did badly when did he got injured. The romantic in me wanted Dawson to lead Forest to the Premier last year. I hope he can lead Forest to the Premier THIS year in what might be, realistically, his last season. Same with Watson. I hope he can last the course of inspired form. He did very well when he 1st came to Forest. And Worrall? Has moved to the next gear, the next level. Confidence. And perhaps the tactical sense to play to their strengths whilst letting those with more speed play around them at fullback and in CM. eg. Sow alongside Watson. Experience and Power. To have Dawson doing for Worral what Des once did for Dawson? I do remember Dawson (Bridgeford End that night....) and he was imperious. But Des' was the one that really brought him along. Worrall looks a diff' play with his hero alongside him. It's called Leadership. Now we have at least 3 of them. SA. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Jasper Scarrott - 17-09-2019 (16-09-2019, 06:15 PM)Strawberry Avenger Wrote:(15-09-2019, 10:54 AM)PsychoStanleyStone Wrote: 3 true warriors, really giving everything. We shouldn't underestimate the value of that. There have been times in recent seasons when we didn't have a leader at all. Now we have 3 of them. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - woody - 17-09-2019 Dawson and Worral in particular love the club. You get the feeling that no matter how good Worral gets, he will never leave. My fear is of a Dawson injury which given his record, is nailed on to happen at some stage of the season. However, the team/squad is much more of a gelled unit now and surely has the personnel and know how to deal with a Dawson lay off without it affecting overall performance. That said, I’d rather have him in than out and Lamouchi excellent game time management should go far in helping him avoid injury. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Alf Garnett - 17-09-2019 I wouldn't say Dawson that is an injury waiting to happen. He played 40 games for Hull in the Championship the season before last. Hopefully if he does pick up an injury it won't be a serious one so he will be missing for just a couple of weeks and not months. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-09-2019 We are in a much better position to cover injuries this season than last, it is now clear to see that finally the squad is stronger this season than last. Dawson, Watson or anybody else are not going to play 46 league games but I am confident that we can cope much better this time round. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Derby My Arse - 21-09-2019 All 3 of them brilliant again today. Nobody deserved that winning goal like Ben Watson. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - ThePromisedLand - 21-09-2019 Official MOM award stinks of uneducated sponsor. Watson head & shoulders the best. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - BadDog - 21-09-2019 Samba mom for me. RE: Dawson Worrall & Watson - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 22-09-2019 That block by Michael Dawson close to the end of the match yesterday was as good as a goal. Superb defending. Superb defending. It seems to have gone under the radar. Great defending doesn't get the attention it deserves, only goals get the attention. |
