Lol. Literally the only way he's going to score. :D RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-07-2020 TBH its more likely he would block Grabban’s goal bound shot sending it wide and we lose on pens. Anyhow will reserve judgement on this for now... as Sniff says there is more to come yet, honestly cant decide between Grabban, Cash and Watson. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Plymouth red - 11-07-2020 If David mcgoldrick can score a Premier league goal then Diakhaby can arse in a goal from five inches. You've got to believe RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Duncan Mckenzie - 12-07-2020 (10-07-2020, 05:27 PM)ThePromisedLand Wrote: Prime candidates ( imho ): I think Figs deserves a mention too. Of course he won't win it but he deserves to be included. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Derby My Arse - 18-07-2020 Watson will get my vote unless something drastic happens between now and the end of the season. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Reds73 - 18-07-2020 So difficult, for me it’s between 3 Cash - Best right back in the league, and practically been in the Championship team of the week every week. Been hugely consistent and deserves huge credit for his performances in a new position. Watson - the brains of the team, his positional play is top class and he has been a terrific captain. He has been constant 7 or 8 out of 10 every game. There is nobody else in the team who can bring what Ben does to the party. The team would be nowhere near as organised without Ben. Grabban - 20 goals, stayed fit and had to carry the burden of goals week in week out. Often feeds off scraps but give him a chance and he is deadly. Also been a big influence on the younger players and alongside Watson and Dawson is one the senior pro’s. Without his goals we wouldn’t be in the hunt. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - audiosmee - 18-07-2020 I’ve gone for Yuri. Matty Cash has been brilliant but I’d forgotten what a left back actually was- let alone one that has consistently ‘taken one for the team’ and been underrated performer. Getting better too RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Strawberry Avenger - 18-07-2020 Sow. Without him there would be no play offs. Runner up? Grabban. Our 1st 20 a season man since... Worthy mentions. Ameobi. Watson. Cash. SA. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-07-2020 I can't vote for a player who has missed half of our games through injury. Watson deserves the honour more than anyone else at this moment in time. RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Username - 19-07-2020 Without Brice Samba I doubt we’d be a top half side RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Turkish - 19-07-2020 Its Ben Watson by a country mile, his legs had gone, shot it, well passed it, groans a plenty anytime he found his way to a starting lineup but this season, the heart of the team Cash and Worrall are in a similar category, Sow and Samba have been outstanding signings Silva not far behind, Figs and Ribero have not put a foot wrong and Ameobi grafts his bollocks off and is never far from changing the game for us Point is this is the beauty of this team from best to worst there is little difference, there is hardly a player who hasn't done really well, when you have virtually 1/2 the team as strong candidates and the other half you could put up a case for you aren't going far wrong Watson, best defensive midfield player in the league this season RE: Player of the Year 2019/20 Season - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 19-07-2020 (19-07-2020, 10:08 AM)Turkish Wrote: Its Ben Watson by a country mile, his legs had gone, shot it, well passed it, groans a plenty anytime he found his way to a starting lineup but this season, the heart of the team Cash and Worrall are in a similar category, Sow and Samba have been outstanding signings Silva not far behind, Figs and Ribero have not put a foot wrong and Ameobi grafts his bollocks off and is never far from changing the game for us Think I agree with all of that. |
