It seems that giving MoN the sack didn't get Forest promotion.

...and only highlighted that recruitment was not wholly appropriate to the Championship.

...and that Forest can still bottle it from what looked like a comfortable play off position.

Positions 7, 9, 7 was it?

And the football at times, poor. Especially against the lower table teams.

Hopefully the character of an English footballing season in the Championship is not lost on Recruitment.

The recent recruitment suggests the dawning of the light of realisation with Colback etc.

On this day in 1977 the team that squeaked promotion in 3rd place the previous season won their opening fixture 3-1 away at Everton. They ended up doing quite well for the next few years.
