We had Sean O ‘Driscoll in charge and he was doing a creditable job of getting reasonable results from a squad that included dross like Darius Henderson, Dan Harding and Matt Derbyshire. He had a sticky spell in late November and fan opinion mostly on social media, not in the stadium, started to turn a bit. Some of us didn't like his tippy tappy cautious approach and, seriously this was one of the reasons, his post match interviews were dull as ditch water. Yeah not long after a glorious unbeaten run of admittedly mainly draws. Was disappointing given how bad the state of the club was at the time. Although interesting that most of our former managers have not gone back into management since. Did we scar them or were they all just terrible appointments?! (Karanka aside now he's back at Brum, he'll either do well or fall out with the board again) RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 15-09-2020 Karanka, Warburton, Montanier all back in work ^^ RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - ThePromisedLand - 15-09-2020 Can’t believe this question is even being asked. RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - ozzyten10 - 15-09-2020 Not now but he needs a few results and improved performances. RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - Liars Bar - 15-09-2020 Absolutely not. We’ve just finished in our highest league position for 10 years. Let him build and get on with it. Secured a great win for them at the weekend :P I thought montanier went into a similar role to Dougie? RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - optimistic_red - 15-09-2020 no from me. far too early. RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - Long John - 15-09-2020 A lot of people said at the end of last season, give him 10 games. I think 10 games is too long. The same old patterns are still happening. Bizarre team selections and substitutions. Something has to change. RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - Uwantlee - 15-09-2020 Yes get rid... he is now taking us backwards despite finishing 7th our form pre january was top 3... we were top at one point. Since then its relegation form.... that's over 20 games as well. Most managers would have lost their job by now. Sabri should not be exempt because we blew a shot at promotion to finish 7th. RE: Should Sabri Be Sacked Or Not? - Mainstand Guy - 15-09-2020 Too soon to sack the bloke yet. However, if he doesnt start to get the team back on track within the next 6 games my view will be irrelavant. Most Forest managers perhaps, at other more sensible clubs no they wouldn't have done.
