Yeah it’s gone from loads of rumours to very quiet. Apart from Clark not much seems to be going on (and if honest not totally convinced on Clark listening to hulk fans who wouldn’t be to aghast to see him go)!

Still loads of work to do - so Bouch, McKay and lichaj have gone or close to. Out of contract was Cohen, Fuentes Vaughan and Hobbs (probably missing others) and the loans that came to an end

Good post. That's a lot of players to move on, Widdow. But "Bouch, McKay and lichaj have gone or close to. Out of contract was Cohen, Fuentes Vaughan and Hobbs" those 7 are a healthy start in terms of reshaping the squad in Karanka's image.
Loads more work to do with players who just aren't going to get 1st team action, some who are nowhere near it. That's a lot of dead weight in a squad. All picking up wages... Forest's recruitment has clearly stepped up since January and even better this Summer so far (with four stand out signings...) Recruitment has been weak for years (both on and off the pitch) as reflected in Forest's league position.
I'll rest easier if we sign Pants, Colback and Bamford. That would make a transformative difference to the spine of the side (along with Dawson...and Fig'...) It builds on the good work started in January.

As things stand...we just have 3 new faces for monday start of pre season....nd loads of players that r not in Karankas plans...so how these players r going to behave?..how Karanka will behave?...after all most of these players he got rid of them as soon as he joined so its not as if they will be looking forward to see each other...if we want the days at St Georges r fruitful ...those players not in Karankas plans must not join the squad or there is a good chance that they will disrupt the dressing room...so early in the season...

If the players who were told they are not in his first team plans did not turn up Malta he would only have 14 players to work with. Getting rid of the players he doesn't want is going to take a load of work.
