RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 05-01-2026

“Edu’s presence is still proving a contentious issue behind the scenes, even after Nuno’s exit, which some sources claim has placed his role in question.”

What a ridiculous carry on.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - RyanR - 05-01-2026

Can’t we just have 5 minutes of stability? We seem intent on chaos all the time

I know there's a lot of hate for Edu but I think this is daft. I thought he was appointed to set the longer-term strategy so why only give him six months (officially anyway) in the role?

We'll never make progress if we rip everything up every few months.

Well Edu ripped up all our progress within 6 months.

Good, he can take his parasitic agent mates with him.

Give Syrianos FULL control and time to implement his ideas. He's the best footballing brain at the club.

Yet many on here thought it was our best transfer window ever.

And while he has to take some responsibility it wasn't just him.

I thought it was a decent window but it is now clear to see he was the problem and continues to be the problem. Edu signed Zinchenko, Luiz and Omari who has been decent for the last month.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sausage Roll - 05-01-2026

He's part of the problem. I'd love to know who else has beef with him now Nuno's gone and whether EM did any due diligence on how Edu would work with the rest of the hierarchy.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Paplane - 05-01-2026

Everything Edu touches turns to shite. He may have acquired legend status down at Arsenal but in my book he's come in, given it the big I am and we've lost our most successful manager in 25 years as a result.

Get him gone.

Iv read it twice now and it kind of suggests he will only go if were relegated.

He gets the blame for zinc and kia agents.

Gets the blame for Kalimuendo leaving.

Not ideal to have this upheaval in the transfer window, when we need some players to help us stay up! I’d imagine we’ll be staying away from Kia’s clients if Edu is out of favour

Its not just us remember, apparently his Oly signings have been just as poor. Gustavo Mancha has played once and Gabriel Streffeza has a single goal in all competitions
