RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Shawoddyred - 19-08-2021 Clearly it's somewhere in between where both sides of this argument are sat. Chris could definitely get better out of the players he has at his disposal but the recruitment has been poor. For what it's worth, I think had Worral and/or Soh not got injured, we would not have lost all 3 games. Not saying we'd be sat on 9 points, but there would be something on the points table. I wish the club wouldn't kid itself players like Figs are anywhere near good enough. He was an absolute liability all season, and now we're expecting a defensive manager to build a solid defense with him as one of the key players. I do understand stability, and that’s what we have with Hughton, but that means relegation battle. We cannot stick with a manager, just cos he has two promotions on his CV (so did Megson) A new manager needs to be appointed as soon as possible and it needs to be a manager, with a better football philosophy, better man management to get the best out of the players we have, someone we can all just get behind. No I'm saying this is the best he can get out of what he has because he has nothing. RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Strawberry Avenger - 19-08-2021 I think Hughton is getting the best out of what we've got. And that is 'nothing' plus Zinc Man. SA. It sounds like Nottingham Forest are going to sack another manager before the weekend. If ever a club needed a long term plan and a Technical Director to implement a style of play and recruitment strategy it is #NFFC Football insights on twitter.. they call some stuff right RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Marinakis Red - 19-08-2021 Let's hope this one is right North East Red RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - SSM - 19-08-2021 (19-08-2021, 01:37 PM)Strawberry Avenger Wrote: I think Hughton is getting the best out of what we've got. RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - PsychoStanleyStone - 19-08-2021 what if Chris Hughton had suggested he leave in the summer and was asked to stay on, do the best he could until the club got its shit together? Literally a rearguard manager during a genuine rearguard transaction, picture the scene in the ravaged village in Saving Private Ryan? But instead of a young fresh faced Matt Damon superimpose a rather obese greek fella? |
