Best comment I’ve seen elsewhere- Chris Hughton has been dealt a bad hand but he has played it poorly!
Perfect summary for me.

Without a winning hand of cards.

With a bad hand of cards?

You fold.

SA.

4 points. We should have beaten Coventry, should have gone for a second goal. More intent i belive we would concede less second half goals when we've been under such a large amount of pressure due to playing so deep so I've plumped for a draw from one of the other 3 games.

Yes, recruitment needs to be better, but Chris is not inspiring our players to be their best, I think this is clear.

He's consistently folded because he doesn't have pocket kings while weaker hands bully us and take home the chips.

Tight game vs Cov'.  Unlucky.  Hard to account for an aged LB coming from the Bombsquad.  Or a keeper who makes an error.

With any form of recruitment, we'd have buried Coventry.

We were also undercooked for that game to dont forget. We ran out of steam.

Weve been competitive for large parts of all the other games. Today not so. The squad and coaching staff will ahve looked at the squad and thought, we've lost this.

I'm not sure it was intentional to sit on it second half, more that we just ran out of legs and Soh got injured early on. He made one change on around 60 minutes, he needed the final one for injuries (which happened).

I think we were unlucky to lose but we were clearly struggling fitness wise in that game.

He's been affected by his association with Daniel Taylor. I wouldnt take his word as gospel any more.

Who’s decision was it to allow Ameobi, Ribeiro and / or Ioannou walk out the door?

I endorse the Ameobi decision.  He was a donkey and contributed barely anything.

Ribeiro - Club f****d him about an he walked away.  Fair play to him.

Ioannou is a weird one, I thought he had something, like a tackle, good left foot with a booming cross.  But for some reason he's not fancied.
