I am not saying he is a wide player; I just do not see him as a target man like Grabban.

He appears to be always on the move, dragging players out of position and then cutting back in.

I would guess that is what Lamouchi wanted from both Lolley and Ameobi last season but they both played too far away from Grabban and did not get into the box anywhere near enough

He looked a pretty good target man in both games against us last season and bullied our centre halves on both occasions. At the city ground he gave the most complete centre forward display I witnessed at the city ground last year.

Playing as a winger which is what both ameobi and lolley were last year will nullify his threat pretty much. He is a centre forward.

Halfway through you sign Diakhaby bong dacosta and bring back walker but rarely use him.

We deserved what we got in the end..

Agreed.

The result matched the extent of our ambition in January.  Forest completely blew that window.

That's exactly what I thought.

But are we relying on selling first, before we can bring in any player.

You know me mate. Forever the optimist.

We have got 5 in so far and I think we have only sold Walker so far.

We all know that there will be another sale but if that enables us to bring in 3 more players of similar standard to what we have bought in so far then in my opinion we will be undoubtedly stronger.

Agreed, I was thinking that if the proposed sale of Cash doesn't happen for what ever reason, do we then have to rely upon someone else going out the door to raise some funds in order to be able to purchase any further players.

Stronger.

And 3-4 more in is probably required to push for a top 2.

CH.  Winger.  Another CM.  Target Man striker who can score goals.

Not convinced by the back line when under pressure.  More depth to the wingers and quality.  A CM who can win possession and slide rule pass forward to get the team going.  (I quite liked the look of Tav'.  Guess it isn't happening.)

And the Birmingham Striker.  Think he'd bring in something different.

Probably Worrall or Silva.

If it makes the squad strong and allows the club to cover FFP and invest in playing staff for promotion.

It's the way it is.
