We definitely can't complain about the timing of this fixture. Couldn't be timed any better really. RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 09-03-2023 I hope we give it a go and play a little more progressively and don't do what we did against West ham. Similar situation where you have a home crowd unhappy with their manager - we need to take advantage of that and try to create a toxic environment. What we don't want to do is look to defend for 90 minutes and give them a cack load of chances and galvanise the supporters. Tbf to the team, I'm not sure they go into the game with the plan of giving away loads of chances and defending for 90 minutes. In advance of the inevitable over-reaction to us naming basically the same team since the Leicester game, it'll be 3 CMs and Wood. Yates (if fit enough) will be the only change I would imagine. The good thing is, Yatesy will make a big difference at both ends of the pitch. Really hope he is ready for a start! We've been unlucky having both him and Kouyate unavailable at the same time. RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - tugger2018 - 10-03-2023 I would go with this team Navas Aurier worrall Felipe Lodi Shelvey kouyate Yates freur Mgw Johnson RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 10-03-2023 Despite the trashing Spurs are getting in the media because of their current situation, we shouldn't forget that they are 4th in the league and have a team full to the brim with quality. Yes it's probably a good time to play them, yes we should be more progressive, but being realistic, the chances of us getting even a point there are small imo. We've never looked remotely like getting anything away at a side that's not bottom 5 or 6. Progress for us should be going there and scoring a goal. That'd be a start. RE: Tottenham - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-03-2023 Agree on paper Tottenham should win comfortably but with all they have going on I cannot think of a better opportunity to get a result away to one of the big teams. Sadly I then look at our away form and think nah. If any of their players want Conte gone then all they have to do is not put it in today. Anything other than a win for them and I think there's a good chance he gets sacked. But if they galvanise behind him then it might be a very long afternoon. But all, as you say, our away form....
