I think he's saying that the difference between the two sides isn't their strikers, or lack thereof. They have more than enough to beat us.

They have more than enough to beat us because there squad is worth fortunes.
Our starting 11 against Newcastle cost £150m - 20 man Squad cost - £210m - Our only players missing were Danilo and Boly so £230m is a full squad cost
Arsenal's starting 11 against West Ham cost £390m - 20 man squad cost £525m - That is without Jesus, Havertz, Martinelli, Saka, Tomiyasu which means there full squad cost is £660m

Agree they're different level to us but as we found out yesterday, all they need is a deflected shot to go in and then we'll probably struggle against their defenders.

They still have Sterling who seems to always do well against us…
But - our home form is decent and we will be smarting from the last match. The midfield will need to be tigers and scrap for everything - it’s an area where the players should be absolutely bombing around because we can change without a significant drop off.

What Im saying is our defence isnt the immovable object it was earlier in the season. That isn't just the back 5, the whole team is culpable. Whether thats a drop off in our performance or other teams evolving a way to play against us Im not sure yet.
We currently look likely to concede against anyone right now no matter who is missing from their forst choice team. Contrast that with earlier in the season when we conceded 1 goal to Liverpool over 180 minutes. Thats what would win us the game on Wednesday.

Pretty much like our first season where we confirmed safety against them. They lost to Brighton the game before and all but ended the title hopes.

I agree with this entirely. If they manage to go ahead from a deflected shot from the edge of the box or a set piece then we’ll really struggle to break them down. All their injuries are up front, the rest of their team is full strength. Personally I don’t buy into the doom and gloom from the Arsenal fans. They’ve still spent an absolute fortune on the players who will start against us

It is not just about how much a player or team cost though.
There is another side of football, the mental and psychological side.
This is where I think we will have the edge tomorrow and why I think we will win the game.
Arsenals PL season ended 48 hours ago. They know they can't win the league now once again but they know they will finish top 4. All their attention now turns to trying to beat PSV in the CL.
