It wasn't worded the best...

I think the message was deliberately ambiguous to create some false demand and to sell some tickets early.

Wonder how much they've collected today? If they've sold 10,000 @ say £300 average = £3m!

These are the same folks who buy up all the food in the supermarkets every time a Russian ship passes through the English Channel.

I can remember queuing from 3 am one season, and then having to wait till 11.30 to get my ticket ?

Anyone remember queuing for cup final tickets in 1991? We thought we'd get there early, at about 8 in the morning. Got there and the queue was up Pavillion road. Later it went to trent bridge and down the embankment to the trent end. 7 hours i was in that queue.

My mate went in his lunch break next day, which was a monday, and just walked up to the counter!

Done mine online today.

Not sure why so many people go down to the ticket office in person.

Makes me wonder too, just for the sake of a few clicks of a button and in the comfort of your own home.

I remember queuing up for League Cup Final tickets against Liverpool in 1978. Thousands of people were there and we were queuing for hours.

The club have confirmed they will honour all renewals within the early bird period, even if the 20k number has been surpassed
