                                Samba
Gabriel/ Darikwa   Worrall   Bennalouane   The real Ribeiro

                    Sow            Colback

Lolley                                             freeman

                          Taylor

                          Grabban

What I expect though

Samba
Jenkinson
Worrall
Figs
Blackett
Yates
Colback
Sami
DaCosta
Freeman
Grabbs.

Taylor behind Grabban won't work, for one he's not that kind of player, he plays on the shoulder and up to now isn't a player who likes to drop in.

Nobody is mentioning Guerrero, don’t rule him out.

Sabri likes him.

May not be his preference but at The Valley last season he killed us especially in first half as he both ran channels and dropped off to collect. He looked absolutely superb with his back to goal at City Ground as he bullied our defence all night.

I was suggesting 442 with 2 up front anyway as both have really good all round games and "both are capable of dropping deep to pick up the ball."

Doesn't matter what I think though, sure Sabri will do what he thinks it will take to get a result.

Be nice to have the option to take Grabban off after 70 minutes and bring a fresh Taylor on to replace him. And vice versa.

A modern day Des Walker then.

Harsh!! He was, afterall, the only player trying to keep the ball out of the net, and he's a striker.

Wish I still had my "I saw Des score" T-shirt. Against Steve Sutton too.

Sore point! Left the CG early - had a long drive in front of me ( no excuse I guess ) - and missed it.

Harsh is him being a striker and not scoring

Agreed Jock but lets no criticise the lad for trying to prevent a goal against.

Not sure Da Costa has even been deployed in the striking roll. He' s normally stuck out wide.
