But I wonder if a feck thread would help realise the tension on match days. (It works for Gordan Ramsay. I wonder if it will work for Forest fans.) Well. I guess the match day thread is the 'feck' thread. As to back on topic? The sooner a swift appointment is made and Forest can start following a 'true North Star' the better. The RED ALERT lights are flashing on the Forest Ship Enterprise. I can hear the Klaxxon and Scotty singing in unison. Perhaps the usual caveats are being negotiated. Pay. Support staff. Recruitment...and one that... Maybe some assurances about recruitment may be necessary. ie. 'Can I bring in at least one PERMANENT striker from Sainburies rather than Pound Stretcher?' *(...and a shovel to help dig Forest out of this mess they're in.) SA. RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Salvatore Matrecano - 20-09-2021 Interesting that Grabban is repeatedly using the word Freedom in interviews same as Lolley put on his insta. They are both senior players and I reckon that is more than coincidence, whether a verdict on CH or a message to the incoming manager. Either that or they are just fans of Mel Gibson. They are both senior players and I reckon that is more than coincidence, whether a verdict on CH or a message to the incoming manager. There may be something in that. When I think of all the managers who 'left', in the end, a 'trap of their own thinking' usually is the thing that sinks them. But there are alot of caveats to criticism of Hughton's 'win' ratio in isolation. (Many of them discussed ad nauseam.). Not least the fullbacks that helped Steve Reid to his 1st win not being available for at least the 1st four games of the season. (Shows what a difference having them and not having them makes.) Doesn't matter. He's gone. He's history. And unless Forest get a new 'right appointment' in soon, Forest will be history in this Championship. Still waiting for the new appointment. (Who, himself fell out with his former club over recruitment of 'his choice' striker(?) and cost cutting and some fans thinking his football was grindy boring?) We'll see if he lasts longer than a year. (And the same Hughton critics, Forest fans or Forest's upper management have the patience for when 'the new guy' goes through a rough patch.) SA. RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - PsychoStanleyStone - 21-09-2021 'He's good lookin Jim ... but not as we know it' RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - McDurban - 22-09-2021 We seem to be posting comments about Coopers interview on the wrong thread :D He is after all the current manager. Gotta say, I too was quite pleased with what he had to say and how he said it. The club wanted a younger squad and delivered. If the want a more attacking style of football then I expect they have employed the manager fit for purpose. He certainly appears to have a lot of energy about him too. I'm feeling very positive.
