RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Strawberry Avenger - 20-09-2019 £42 million in player sales over several years. 'Astonishing.' That is the real Forest success story. SA. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - ThePromisedLand - 23-09-2019 Interesting to note that the official site match report on the U18’s 4-1 win over Leeds constantly refers to the ‘triallist’ despite him scoring 2 goals - no mention of his name. Is this to keep his name confidential at the risk of losing him to a rival, protecting a minor in some way or simply because they are not allowed to name him for some reason? RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Widdow - 23-09-2019 (23-09-2019, 10:16 AM)ThePromisedLand Wrote: Interesting to note that the official site match report on the U18’s 4-1 win over Leeds constantly refers to the ‘triallist’ despite him scoring 2 goals - no mention of his name. Didn't want to say anything but it was me  RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Reds73 - 23-09-2019 (23-09-2019, 10:16 AM)ThePromisedLand Wrote: Interesting to note that the official site match report on the U18’s 4-1 win over Leeds constantly refers to the ‘triallist’ despite him scoring 2 goals - no mention of his name. It’s not wanting to alert other clubs RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - ThePromisedLand - 23-09-2019 That was my thought - but there’s no way they can keep these things under the radar. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sausage Roll - 27-09-2019 A trialist has scored for the U23's today. Is it the same guy? Does anyone know who he is? RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sausage Roll - 27-09-2019 Big chap, not the same trialist as the U18's apparently. And we won 5-1! RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 27-09-2019 No idea who it is SR. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Joe Baker Legend - 27-09-2019 Under 23s remain on top of the Professional Development League after a convincing 5-1 win against Barnsley this afternoon. A Will Swan brace was followed by further goals from Victor Sodiende, Alex Mighten and a trialist which helped wrap up a comfortable win at The Nigel Doughty Academy. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Frochy1977 - 05-10-2019 Nottingham Forest have signed academy midfielder Fin Back on a professional contract. The 17-year-old - the son of England Rugby World Cup winner Neil Back - has impressed for Forest's under-18s over the last two seasons, socring five goals from midfield in 2018-19. Back has already added two to that tally so far this season, and his performances have earned him his first pro deal at the City Ground. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sausage Roll - 05-10-2019 Wow, the picture of him on the website doesn't half look like his dad. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 07-10-2019 Nottingham Forest Under 23s began their Premier League Cup campaign with a defeat against Bournemouth on Saturday. The Reds fell to a 1-0 defeat at the Vitality Stadium in their first group match. Forest: Siampanis, Rama (Hayes 78'), Gallacher, Fornah, Spooner, Preston, Clough (Walsh 66'), Johnson, Swan (Sodiende 57'), En-Neyah, Mighten Unused subs: Liburd-Hines, Barnes. |
