If anyone does give him stick they’re not a football fan, this is a young lad who probably wanted to be part of a Newcastle team that finally won their First trophy since 69 having started in their academy at 8 years old, who’s grandad played for Newcastle at the time who may have been in that team if his career hadn’t been cut short (Frank clark was in that team) so let him celebrate

Must be pretty gutted he's not in that team that won the trophy but that said not sure he would've got in ahead of any of that 3 in midfield this year when all fit so I think it's worked out OK for him!

I dont he'd mind too much if he won the FA Cup and qualified for the CL with us

Just dawned on me that we are just potentially 90 minutes away from Wembley

A long, hard, 90 minutes though.

I don't know about anyone else but watching the League Final, I was certainly interested in another trip to Wembley.

RE: FA Cup & League Cup - Salvatore Matrecano - 19-03-2025

Very aware we are 90 mins from a day out at Wembley. Which is precisely why I now want Nuno to stop messing about and play his strongest team and hopefully win the tie.

I'm open to resting players that have only just come back if we have any latecomers, Wood perhaps. Ideally, it'll be the same team that played Ipswich though.

Congratulations to the Forest womens side for winning the FA WNL cup for the second time in 3 years, by beating Stoke City women 3-1

I am sure he will but we have to see in what condition the returning players are in first.

Got to trust Nuno will do what's best for the team. Very tough game but definitely winnable!

Wood and Elliott will play Monday (along with MGW trying to avoid arse splinter injury)

Neco, Ola and Elanga all play on Tuesday

Biggest issue could be Murillo who has a good chance of winning his first cap in a tasty looking match vs Argentina on Wednesday.
