Cafu has been deployed in the no.10 role when we've needed to stiffen the spine of the team. But if Yates and Colback can perform like the 1st half vs Cov', no problem. They're rested for the Bourney game whereas Cafu played quite a bit vs Bradford. Chances are the Bradford game will give Chris food for thought re: Fornah. Zinc Man and Brennan to fit in. Will Car get another chance? Will the new RB start? Will Gabriel be slotted in at LB? Or will Tutu go there and allow Gabriel to keep his spot? I'd expect Fin and Fornah to at least be on the bench. Car' too. Lots of questions. We'll know more tomorrow. SA. RE: Nottingham Forest - Bournemouth - Redreg - 13-08-2021 Watching Brentford v Arsenal Didn’t realise the pressed this well just like Leeds do is that the way to play to get out of this league . Murphey implemented that style of play at Barnsley would love to see us play the Gengenpress !!! Me too mate, I love watching a high press and going after teams forcing mistakes rather than waiting for them. Need more mobility in the centre of the pitch to do it though. RE: Nottingham Forest - Bournemouth - SSM - 14-08-2021 It would be heartbreaking to see Cafu back in the #10 spot when he offers next to zero creativity and goal threat. He doesn't deserve to start today, looked poor in pre-season and on Wednesday. I'd like to see Fornah play. He's done brilliantly, and he needs a test to see how he handles it. You only know when they get a genuine chance. He's got the self belief and ability. Carvalho made a claim too. But I think we'll see Zinckernagel-Johnson-Mighten For me, Yates and Fornah represented the smartest move, as we can progress the ball into feet, as oppose to playing longer with bigger gaps between CDM and the front 4. RE: Nottingham Forest - Bournemouth - Uwantlee - 14-08-2021 For me the line up is less important than the tactics and set up. I want to see a team that attacks... even if we score and take a lead i want to see them go for the oppositoon. None of this take the lead and sit back rubbish. I want to see some creativity on the middle. Colback and yates are too similar. They can both break up play well enough but when they have the ball they lack the vision to pick out good passes. Often sideways or back. We need the players in that position to start us off. I want to see the same passion that the youngstera showed. I dont want to see taylor rolling around the floor waving his arms every 2 minutes. The line up is really irrelevant. We know the formation and it doesnt matter who is in the line up if the set up and tactics are to get behind the ball and hold on. If thats thw case then the skill and ability of lolley, mighten, johnson and carv is wasted anyway. RE: Nottingham Forest - Bournemouth - Salvatore Matrecano - 14-08-2021 Right, off to the WFCG. Mighten takes a (well earned) breather. Car. Again on the bench. He' s earned it. Cafu takes a break. SA. |
