I expect a couple of changes, not too many please as it then becomes disruptive.
It is important that we get 3 points

However if the attitude is right then there is no reason we shouldn’t play a few of the fringe players, Im thinking Ojeda, possibly even Horvarth if Samba’s head isnt right. Its up to Cooper to make sure they approach it the right way.

There have been precious few 'shoulds' against Barnsley over the years.

Not sure what garners done to be dropped for figs. I think we can play four at the back and push Garner more advanced and if Barnsley do somehow cause us problems we can drop yates back in to the centre for a bit.

Horvarth (yes I know!)
Mckenna Yates Cook
Spence Ojeda Garner Lowe
Zinc
Johnson Davis

Only change I would make to that is resting Garner for Colback, but using Garner (and Grabban) as impact players after 60 minutes.

Nah, the fringe players can play if a 1st choice is injured. Their responsibility is to be ready to step up when called upon. Any changes must be tactical only, not a rest stop. Play till you drop.

I wouldn't change a winning side. These lads should want to play so let them. I remember when sabri made changes for the charlton game after beating leeds. Completely backfired.

Play full strength against barnsley and let them deal with it. Play a weakened side and gives them the message that we ain't taking it seriously. That gives them that little bit extra.

Only reason to change is for injury.

Like it, I agree!

Devils advocate
We get an injury just before play off semi. Have to bring in Larayea/ Ojeda etc. But they have never played so can we rely on them. What better opportunity than a home game against the poorest team in the league who also have a ton of injuries.
I know well what happened vs Charlton 2 years ago, just saying.

I'm not so sure that you have to play "devil's advocate" to argue for Ritchie to be included. His credentials are impeccable. Not sure that he's quite ready but see no reason why he wouldn't be. Suspect and hope that we see him tonight probably off the bench. Adds to the excitement and makes sense to me.

One of the many things that irritated me about Sabri.

I'm a card carrying Cooper-rite.
