RE: Jack Robinson - JWJW - 30-06-2018

Good addition and we also will have Fuentes coming back in the new year...……… means we would be covered at LB by Robinson, Fuentes, Fox and Osborn.

Need to sort the Right Back position out now...……….someone better than TD is needed.

RE: Jack Robinson - HykehamRed - 30-06-2018

Byram and Robinson are huge improvements on anything we’ve had in last 5 years

RE: Jack Robinson - RedMW - 30-06-2018

More I read about him the better. If he can stay injury free we’ve got ourselves a very good player.

RE: Jack Robinson - Username - 30-06-2018

Pleased to have him here but we don’t have a good history with players that have this kind of injury record.

RE: Jack Robinson - ThePromisedLand - 30-06-2018

Only a 2 year contract - club being pragmatic re injury record?

RE: Jack Robinson - Username - 30-06-2018

We had a similar situation with Pinillos, £1.5m later and it wasn’t worth the risk.

Sorry, don’t mean to be negative but our record with players that have suffered from injuries is poor so it’s hard not to be pessimistic.

I think I’d definitely be hoping we signed another left back as competition/cover. Don’t want fox or Osborn as the backup. On the at article from sky someone’s posted it implied giant fav position was centre back too so if we signed another’s LB and he was really good could always play both

I believe there is an option for a third year.

I am hoping that since we took the doctor from West Brom that our record of signing injury prone players is over.

I'd agree with that.  Fox days as a LB are over and Osborn isn't a specialist there.  (So, for me, calling them back up is a stretch.  Fox ix a better CH and Os' is a better midfielder.  Sure, he's kind of grown into the LB role somewhat.  But he didn't get rave reviews there.)  It's just our luck that the LB Forest get in gets injured and Os' is left deputising.  That's why I hope with the quality of the squad building going on, Forest try to bring Fabio in to bring genuine depth to that position.

But if I had a choice between Fabio and pushing for the next level DCM and securing Grabben...I'd rather have the latter.

Hope so and that it works out for Jack. There's nothing worse than a decent player being plagued by injuries.
