Love Danilo but he shouldn't be shoehorned staright back into the starting eleven.

I agree that we should have faith in those who got us where we are.

Couldn't agree more.

We should very carefully pick and choose our moments to get minutes for Danilo (rusty, but we know he can do it) and Sangare (in my opinion, despite looking fine pre-season and pre-injury, has done nothing to justify being higher in the pecking order than Dominguez).

I want Danilo and Sangare to be amazing for us, but I don't think now is the time to be changing up the playbook that's worked better than we could have ever imagined this season.

For me...

Sels
Aina Milenkovic Murillo Williams
Anderson Dominguez
Elanga MGW CHO
Wood

Clean bill of health apart from Miguel (assuming Taiwo is ok to feature).

We can't ask for better at this stage of the season.

You can't, but the performance levels seem to have dropped off these last few weeks. That may be because we're playing teams for the 2nd time now and they've got a game plan, but the performances v Bournemouth and Fulham were well below the level they've been demonstrating to get us where we are. That could be because of physical and mental fatigue.

They spent a week in Dubai just for that very notion, I think Fulham was wrong set up but nuno kept on with it cus he believes in the players ability to sort it out if we had snatched an equaliser I doubt people would have be ringing the death knell as much

Losses:

Liverpool - us
Arsenal - Newcastle, Bournemouth
Us - Fulham x 2, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Man City, Arsenal
Man City - Arsenal, Villa, Man Utd, Liverpool, spurs, Brighton, Bournemouth
Bournemouth - Liverpool x 2, Brighton, Brentford, Leicester, Chelsea
Chelsea - Brighton, Man City x 2, Ipswich, Fulham, Liverpool
Newcastle - Man City, Fulham x 2, Bournemouth, Brentford, West Ham, Chelsea, Brighton,

So yeah maybe we shouldn’t have lost to Bournemouth and Fulham but surely Bournemouth shouldnt have lost to Brentford and Leicester, thankfully we can say we’ve only lost to those around us

Newcastle fans are not very happy with this appointment it seems that they have some history.

So we will have a foreign referee.

Gillett is Australian.

RE: Newcastle United - Nottingham Forest - Fumanchew - 21-02-2025

Let’s hope he doesn’t disadvantage the kiwi…

He’s going to give decisions against us just because he knows it will annoy Stuart Broad.

Huge game on Sunday, I still think there is more pressure on Newcastle.
