How many more managers are we going to try before some one says that constant change isnt good. The money, time and effort we've wasted through changing again and again is a joke. Any potential manager must look at NFFC Plc as a Managers Graveyard when they come in and arent given time to see the fruits of their labours. But it starts before that when we are selecting managers. we have to get that right and I cringe when I think of some of the useless managers we've employed since Clough.

A few games into the season is far too early to be sacking anyone. Let him bed this set of players in. Christmas might be a better time to judge. A few wins could change so much.

Yesterday, I loved our match day thread in the immediate aftermath of the game.

The optimists, & the pessimists, both stuck their appraisals of the match on the match day thread & it was so refreshing to see both "sides" write honest appraisals, & by doing so we found that the majority of us were actually all within touching distance of each other when it came to how we viewed the match.

There was no bitterness, no abuse, no insults, just grown men (& adult women) talking about football & that is exactly what a lot of us want in this place, & one of the reasons you made it. To escape from the toxicity & nonsense.

You're right, I don't actually recall one comment demanding the sacking of Karanka, we're just not that sort of forum, I don't know about you mate, but personally I have no plans to destroy my bedsheets & turn them in to banners calling for "Karanka Out!" & nothing said on here is likely to change that, & even if it did change that, me with a ragged, defaced bedsheet, isn't going to change the boards opinion in any way.

We do not hire & fire, we know that, most of us are resigned to that reality, so instead we try to discuss the facts & truth of where we are, so that we can better understand what is going on at the club, & what is likely to happen in the future.

It is exactly like everyone is discussing in the "silence is deafening" thread, this desire just to have the simple truth, or an outline of the truth, just so we can see the bigger picture and fully understand what is happening & because of that support our club in the most appropriate way.

Any arguments that happen on here won't change the reality of what happens at the club, so it's pointless creating such arguments.

For example, if I sit here and pretend that Karanka has a great away record, what does it achieve if I actually fool you in to believing it?

The board are not going to be more, or less likely, to sack, or retain him, just because I've conned you in to believing my made up statistic about away form, on a forum on the internet.

These manufactured arguments and feuds you see all over the internet are 100% pointless, & we are much better served as fans by not insulting each other by trying to blow smoke up each others backsides and just engaging in grown up discussion with facts & truth instead.

No one wants a return to the managerial merry-go-round, but insulting each other, trying to deceive each other & lying to each other, will not make that more or less likely.
